Dear Andrew,
I had not been to your Blue Thunder site in several years! Great job putting together this new web site it is really slick!
@Fixer
thank you I got map.
I can enjoy by you.
A-RI-GA-TOU(meaning thank you in japanese)
@derra! Search Google Maps for 555 Ramirez St., Los Angeles, CA 90012. That's the LAPD Air Support Division (zoom in and you'll see the helipad and helicopters). Go east a bit to the river, then south. Not sure what exact bridges were in the movie, but probably between 1st and 6th Streets. (I believe Blue Thunder cuts the police car in half on the 1st Street bridge.)

I am a HUGE BLUE THUNDER FAN!!! I think it is the COOLEST POLICE CHOPPER EVER!!!
I just wanted to say that i bought this movie on dvd the other day and it brought back memories. My father is a movie theater manager her in Clovis, New Mexico. at one time he knew a man here by the last name of Hoffman. He had Hoffman Aviation at our airport. Mr. Hoffman was able to get a hold of at least two of these beauties. My father had a special viewing of Blue Thunder in the mid '80's and had one of the static models right in front of the theater. Gretest memory of my life1
I have been looking for a kit for radio controlled Blue Thunder. I read on a site (can't remember where) that there is a fibreglass kit produced in Australia... Don't s'pose anyone might know the name of the company where I can get a kit? The kit is suitable for T-Rex 600 mechanics. I know there are suppliers overseas - but I live in Australia (Hobart) and freight costs will be reasonable. Hope someone can help.
Great site....

G'day.
Love the site, I've been watching Blue Thunder religiously since it came out when I was seven. Still the most impressive helicopter gun-ship I've ever seen, and to this day it remains my #1 fave movie of all time. Time for a remake hmm?? Cheers for the site lads, bloody good work.

nice web page i would like somne help in the way of finding the compant that built blue thunder as i am wanting to turn one of my gazelle aircraft into blue thunder so that i can take it around to displays and promote a charity that has helped me since i was injured in iraq in 2003 hope you can help and point me in the direction of who i need to contact
Would you like photos taken of Blue Thunder taken during the filming of the LA street chase scene in December 1981? My father sold the Gazelles used for Blue Thunder and was invited to the set that day by Jim Gavin, second unit director.
5. Michael Dalton (18.7.2009)
Definately enjoyed the original 1983 film and the two fan fiction sequels. Are you going to re-post them? They were great.
Since Roy Scheider has passed away, watching the movie has definately not been the same. Which is probably why the Blue Thunder mini series Thunderheat has been discontinued by the author. Something which is understandable.
Hi, I've been a Blue Thunder fan ever since it started and I still am crazy as ever!!
