Best-selling author Trevanian (Incident at Twenty-Mile, The Eiger
Sanction, The Summer of Katya, Shibumi, The Main) writes of Prosecutor
Will be Violated: "The current three-ring-circus, justice-to-the
highest-bidder character of the American legal system begs for a
lacerating examination in fiction, and Archie Spencer has given
us just that, a book with wit and weight."
Archie graduated from Harvard College and Harvard Law School. He
practiced corporate law in Minneapolis for over 30 years with the
firm of Best & Flanagan. "Even the law gets old after a while,"
he says. "Now I am doing what I always wanted to do."
Archie plays the piano and has composed pieces for piano and voice.
He is currently working on two novels not about the law. He and
his wife, Chris, live in Minneapolis and have four children and
six grandchildren. Chris is a vice-president of Morgan Stanley Dean
Witter and a watercolorist who has exhibited locally and nationally.
